Member at-Large Board Member Selection Process

 

APPLICATION PROCESS 

Nominations will be opened through an on-line notification. 
Nominations should be made from Coalition members based on the selection criteria.
Nominees will notified and asked to complete the Submission of Interest form and submit to CCC Coordinator.
Applications are reviewed by a subgroup of the Steering Committee.
Recommendations from the subgroup will be presented during the May Steering Committee Meeting.
Members are notified of their selection by June.
 

SELECTION PROCESS

A subgroup will be formed from the Steering Committee to review submitted applications.  This subgroup will use a rubric to evaluate candidates based on their background, CCC experience, personal and professional characteristics, and the segment of the CCC they represent – including subgroup representation (Campus Collaborative, Neighborhood Network, and Hospitality Resource Alliance) and connections to the community.

PROCESS TIMELINE

 

March    Nominations accepted based on selection criteria
March 30th    Final deadline for nomination
   Nominees are notified by CCC Coordinator and invited to apply
April 20th    Member at-Large applications due to CCC Coordinator by 4:30 p.m.
April/May    Steering Committee subgroup review application and prepare recommendations
May 17th    Subgroup presents recommendations
   Members at-Large selected by the Steering Committee
June    Newly appointed members will be notified by CCC Coordinator
July – June    Members at-Large serve on Steering Committee
